Alsager Highfields Parents & Friends Association
Welcome!
At Alsager Highfields, our Parents & Friends Association (PFA) brings families and staff together with a common goal: to help enrich the learning experience of our children. Over the years, our PFA has raised thousands of pounds, which has been spent on equipment and resources for the children.
Our major fundraising events are the school discos, raffles, non-uniform days, the Christmas fair, Easter Bingo and the Summer fair. We also hold ticketed social nights in various restaurants around Alsager.
What do we spend the funds on?
Funds are spent on extra resources that don’t fall within the school’s budget. Each year, we aim to fund as a minimum:
- A book bag and water bottle for each reception child.
- Christmas theatre trip coach contribution (KS2).
- Chaplin's Panto Company to come in (KS1).
- A contribution towards the year 6 leaving party.
Additional funds that we raise are spent on ‘extra resources’ that don’t fall within the school’s budget. For example, the PFA recently purchased the outdoor gym equipment that all children enjoy at break times.

Volunteers
Fundraising for our school requires volunteers. Sometimes we need help on the day of an event and sometimes we need help in the days preceding an event. We would encourage all parents, grandparents and friends to get involved and help out.

Did you know that when you shop online, you could be raising funds for the school – at no extra cost to yourselves? Every time you shop at Argos, John Lewis, Amazon, book a holiday, switch car insurance or utility supplier you could be donating free money to the school.
