Anti-bullying
Every November schools throughout the United Kingdom take part in Anti-Bullying Week. This is an opportunity to shine a spotlight on bullying and consider the steps we can take together to stop it. Anti-Bullying Week takes various themes each year adn we share and acknowledge this theme during the month of November, and take part in activities during Ant-Bullying Week.
However, as a school, we also acknoweldge that Anti-Bullying should not be something which only has a focus on once a year and so we also refer to our acronym, STOP regularly throughout the year, including assemblies and PSHE lessons to address our thoughts and approach to Bullying. We also live by the ethos within the No Outsiders Pledge, where children throughout the school learn about inclusivity, challenging prejudice and stereotypes and esnure that everyone feels welcome.
