KS1 Attainment

Statutory testing has now been removed for children in year 2 in Reading, Writing and Maths, however many schools still 'opt in' to complete the key stage 1 SATs. Whilst the data from these tests is no longer collected nationally, we ran the tests under the same conditions as previous years. Those children who meet all the criteria are deemed to be working at the national standard.

Further to this, a proprtion of children are deemed to be working above the national standard. They are also teacher assessed in Writing. In 2022 our writing was externally moderated by Cheshire East Local Authority. All of our judgements with regards to writing were deemed to be accurate. As a Trust we also complete writing moderation and writing is moderated further by the headteacher who for the past three years has formed part of the Cheshire East moderation team.
