HOME LEARNING

Hello everyone - we hope that you are not feeling too poorly and we very much look forward to seeing you again soon. If you are feeling well enough to complete some work, then please do have a look at the websites below. There you may find activities set on spelling shed and there are always games which you can play and challenge other people. Don't forget you also have the pages in your grammar book which you can complete. Hopefully you will have books to read at home and then you can access Accelerated Reader to quiz on books you have finished.

To keep you up-to-date with what Y3 have been doing below there are some Maths sheets attached and some English activities. Complete as much as you feel is reasonable depending on how your are feeling, and don't forget this will be different for everyone.

Maths tasks - These will take you through the work on measurement that we have been doing in class. They will show the lesson, with Guided Practice from MNP and also sheets which are taken from the workbook.

English - Retell a picture book. Choose any book you have at home and create a story map ready to retell the story from. Remember that we draw two lines between each picture, reminding us of when we need to move to a new paragraph, missing a line between each one.

Once you have drawn your story map, close the book and use your map to retell the story. It would take 3 sessions to write the retelling of your story. Remember to try and include 2A sentences and fronted adverbials.
