Houses of Parliament Virtual Tour, by Mrs Muddy
Date: 1st Dec 2021 @ 10:11am
Children from our School Council and Junior Safeguarding team across years 3 to year 6 got to visit the Houses of Parliament today for a virtual tour! We had our own personal tour guides who shared lots of behind the scenes information with us on this special tour. The children asked brilliant questions and they have a link of the tour so they can share it with their own classes. Another great experience developing the Children’s understanding of the British values of democracy and rule of law. Mrs Henshall was very proud of how the children represented themselves and our school with their excellent listening and wonderful manners. Well done!

This was only made possible by the amazing generosity of Wards Property Services who kindly funded this opportunity for our children. Thank you.

After school we had our first Healthy Eating parent session at 3pm which was brilliant, our lovely cook provided taste testers of various foods, some healthy biscuits and juice which were enjoyed by all. Everyone who attended received a family activity book to take home and the feedback was really positive. We will be running another in the Spring.
