Liverpool, by Mrs Woollam

We have had an amazing second day on the residential today. We've been across the Mersey, been on the open top bus tour and visited several museums. Topped off by great Italian food and a game of bingo. 
The children were super sensible walking around Liverpool and all the staff are incredibly proud of each and every pupil.

Crumbles, by Mrs Harry

Mrs Dyde's class have today programmed the crumbles.  These are small cicuit boards that can be controlled by using a computer.  The boards are designed so that you can connect switches, LED's, motors and more sophisticated devices using crocodile clips.  The children had an amazing afternoon.  Take a look at the videos.

The Art of Brilliance, by Mrs Woollam

The children in Years 3,4 and 5 have been learning all about positive thinking over the past couple of weeks. Andy Cope (author of the Spy Dog books), has been busy inspiring our pupils and staff into thinking about the positives in life rather than focusing on the negatives. We discovered that actually, no matter how bleak the last couple of years have been, we have plenty to be grateful for.

Our word millionaire badges finally arrived on Friday and were given out to the worthy recipients. Well done to all our millionaires. We are hoping more children will soon join the millionaire list as some are very close!
